The Andover Chamber of Commerce annual banquet will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 at St. Vincent De Paul, 123 N. Andover Rd.
Wink Hartman will be the featured speaker at the event. He owns several companies, including Hartman Oil Company, H2 Plains, H2 Trucking, H2 Drilling, Hartmoor Investments, commercial construction company Ink Construction, Chester's Chophouse and Wine Bar, Jimmy's Egg, Knolla's Pizza, and Hartman Arena. Hartman was named 2008 "Businessman of the Year" by the Wichita Business Journal.
Tickets for the event, which are available to the public, are $40 each and tables for six with six beverage tickets are available for $250. They may be purchased at the Chamber Office at 1607 Central at the lodge in the Central Park. RSVPs are requested by Jan. 15. Call 733-0648 or e-mail info@andoverchamber.com for more information.
There will also be a diamond giveaway fundraiser from Jewelry Savers and a silent auction featuring vacations and other packages.
The annual business awards will be presented during the banquet. Food will be provided by Bocconcini, featuring Chef Nathan Toubia. Flint Hills Wine and Liquor will service a cash bar. Students from Butler Community College will entertain during the dinner with live music.
